Jacqui Sanders is Country Manager for Atlantis Health UK, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience across health and life sciences consulting. Her experience spans the full value chain—from early research and clinical development through to commercialization—giving her the rare ability to align strategic, scientific, and commercial priorities. Prior to joining Atlantis, Jacqui served as Senior Partner and UK Managing Director, Health and Life Sciences at FleishmanHillard, an Omnicom company, where she led a multidisciplinary team of specialists including in patient engagement. At Atlantis Health, Jacqui leads UK operations and P&L, drives the evolution of the market offering, and provides strategic counsel across the client portfolio. She is a strong advocate for co-design methodologies that place patient needs at the centre, integrating patient insights and behavioral science frameworks to drive meaningful outcomes and commercial value for life science clients. Jacqui holds a BSc in Zoology with majors in Biochemistry and Neurobiology and has completed executive leadership and finance programs at the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics. She is recognized as a top 10 Healthcare Influencer by PRWeek.

John is Professor of Psychology as applied to Medicines, at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, King's College London. He is recognized as one of the founders of modern health psychology and his main research areas are cognition and health, communication and decision-making in healthcare, and self-regulation & self-management in chronic illness. His ongoing research has strongly informed the content and development of Atlantis Health’s patient support programs, ensuring that these are based on an up-to-date and evidence-based foundation. Professor Weinman is the author of many books and papers in peer review journals and he has helped develop a number of standardized measures of illness perceptions and treatment beliefs. These have been used widely in studies of illness adjustment and treatment adherence across a wide range of health problems in many countries.

Debbie heads up a team of experts at Atlantis Health UK applying a behavioral lens and health psychological expertise to develop and build solutions for our clients. She joined Atlantis following a 25-year career in academia where she led major research projects in collaboration with the UK's National Health Service, industry and international partners aimed at improving the self-management of long-term physical health conditions. She has worked in a range of disease areas including diabetes, prostate cancer, multiple sclerosis, and rare diseases. She has authored over eighty publications in this field. She has expertise in digital self-management interventions and co-design. She has helped develop and evaluate self-management programs which have subsequently become part of routine patient care.
