Keith is a Professor of Health Psychology at the University of Auckland Medical School, New Zealand. His primary research focus is how patients construct beliefs about their illness or injury and how these influence coping and recovery. Professor Petrie and his research group are known internationally for constructing new methods for measuring patients’ perceptions of illness and developing early intervention programs to change unhelpful perceptions and improve adherence to medication and rehabilitation.

Kate trained as a health and clinical psychologist. She is committed to supporting individuals to self-manage their health and achieve better health outcomes. Kate was the first psychologist employed at Atlantis Health and has been a key figure in developing the organisation’s proprietary approach to integrating psychological theory into behaviour change solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to her role at Atlantis Health, Kate worked clinically conducting neuropsychological assessments and providing therapeutic interventions to people living with neuropsychological conditions. Kate holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sussex, England, and a Master of Science in Health Psychology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

John is Professor of Psychology as applied to Medicines, at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, King's College London. He is recognized as one of the founders of modern health psychology and his main research areas are cognition and health, communication and decision-making in healthcare, and self-regulation & self-management in chronic illness. His ongoing research has strongly informed the content and development of Atlantis Health’s patient support programs, ensuring that these are based on an up-to-date and evidence-based foundation. Professor Weinman is the author of many books and papers in peer review journals and he has helped develop a number of standardised measures of illness perceptions and treatment beliefs. These have been used widely in studies of illness adjustment and treatment adherence across a wide range of health problems in many countries.

Michael is a Sylvester Professor of Psychology, and Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Miami and a member of the Cancer Control program at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is a Fellow of the Society of Behavioural Medicine and an Associate Editor for Psychology and Health. A licensed psychologist in the state of Florida, Dr. Antoni earned his PhD in psychology at the University of Miami. He has led multiple NIH-funded efforts testing the effects of cognitive behavioural stress management (CBSM) interventions on psychological adaptation, immune system functioning, and overall health outcomes in women with breast cancer and men with prostate cancer.
